I am facing a peculiar problem when using "tc class change" command. Whenever i use this command for a htb class which is also acting as parent to some other class, my system becomes unstable and hangs if i issue the command after doing the change with tc class change # tc qdisc show I am using Htb3.6 with kernel 2.4.19 and latest tc included with htb 3.6 What i am doing is this : tc class add dev eth0 parent 1:2 classid 1:13 htb rate 128Kbit ceil 256Kbit prio 1 This class is acting as parent to 3 other classes. Everthing works fine till i issue the following command : tc class change dev eth0 parent 1:2 classid 1:13 htb rate 128Kbit ceil 256Kbit prio 1 If i issue the command "# tc qdisc show" after this , system hangs immediately.
