hello devik sorry to trouble you again. actually i had compiled htb on 2.2.17, with the old patch which was working. now i am trying to use the new patch for 2.2.17, but it says as "RTNETLINK answers : no such file or directory" any clue, actually i have compiled CONFIG_RTNETLINK during kernel compilation. i am unable to make heads or tails. should i try as answered by you for 2.4.17 kernel version, mail dated 03jan2002 >> quote In 2.4.17 there is hange in kernel which causes this bug.
