On s390, we currently build a single 'kvm' module, with a module_init function. eventfd has its own module_init function, and we can't have two of them in the same module. I just moved our specific module initialization into a new 'kvm_s390' module. > > > --- > > arch/s390/kvm/Makefile | 4 +++- > > arch/s390/kvm/init.c | 52 ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ > > arch/s390/kvm/kvm-s390.c | 38 ++++------------------------------- > > 3 files changed, 59 insertions(+), 35 deletions(-) > > create mode 100644 arch/s390/kvm/init.c > > > > diff --git a/arch/s390/kvm/Makefile b/arch/s390/kvm/Makefile > > index 3975722..2441ffd 100644 > > --- a/arch/s390/kvm/Makefile > > +++ b/arch/s390/kvm/Makefile > > @@ -11,4 +11,6 @@ common-objs = $(addprefix ../../../virt/kvm/, kvm_main.o) > > ccflags-y := -Ivirt/kvm -Iarch/s390/kvm > > > > kvm-objs := $(common-objs) kvm-s390.o intercept.o interrupt.o priv.o sigp.o diag.o > > -obj-$(CONFIG_KVM) += kvm.o > > +kvm_s390-objs := init.o > > + > > +obj-$(CONFIG_KVM) += kvm.o kvm_s390.o > > diff --git a/arch/s390/kvm/init.c b/arch/s390/kvm/init.c > > new file mode 100644 > > index 0000000..dc4028a > > --- /dev/null > > +++ b/arch/s390/kvm/init.c > > @@ -0,0 +1,52 @@ > > +/* > > + * kvm on s390 module initialization > > + * > > + * Copyright IBM Corp. 2013 > > + * > > + * This program is free software; you can redistribute it and/or modify > > + * it under the terms of the GNU General Public License (version 2 only) > > + * as published by the Free Software Foundation. > > + * > > + * Author(s): Cornelia Huck <cornelia.huck@xxxxxxxxxx> > > + */ > > + > > +#include <linux/kvm.h> > > +#include <linux/kvm_host.h> > > +#include <linux/module.h> > > +#include "kvm-s390.h" > > + > > +extern unsigned long long *facilities; > > + > > +static int __init kvm_s390_init(void) > > +{ > > + int ret; > > + ret = kvm_init(NULL, sizeof(struct kvm_vcpu), 0, THIS_MODULE); > > + if (ret) > > + return ret; > > + > > + /* > > + * guests can ask for up to 255+1 double words, we need a full page > > + * to hold the maximum amount of facilities.
