[ANNOUNCE] kvm-kmod-2.6.35

[Date Prev][Date Next][Thread Prev][Thread Next][Date Index][Thread Index]

2.6.35 is out for a while, but as I was busy with other things like KVM
forums and vacations, this release took a bit longer. Not many changes,
just a few fixes and cleanups.

KVM changes since kvm-kmod-2.6.35-rc3:
 - Use kmalloc() instead of vmalloc() for KVM_[GS]ET_MSR
 - MMU: fix conflict access permissions in direct sp
 - mm: add context argument to shrinker callback
 - MMU: flush remote tlbs when overwriting spte with different pfn
 - VMX: Fix host MSR_KERNEL_GS_BASE corruption

kvm-kmod changes:
 - Improve split kernel tree detection

To clarify the versioning: There is already 2.6.35.2, but as it contains
no KVM delta to 2.6.35, kvm-kmod sticks with the latter until we have
patches in that series.

This release also marks the end of the kvm-kmod-2.6.34 series.
