Easier:

     return test_facility(12);

... but with that in mind, I wonder why you need a wrapper function for this at all - why not simply checking test_facility(12) at the calling side instead?

Ok, I now see, you're changing this again in a later patch. So never mind.
Or maybe immediately call this function ap_setup(), and add a comment here that it will be extended later?
