No, although the original VM was built in VirtualBox if that makes a difference? I had to manually implement the "merge ide" fix here (http://support.microsoft.com/kb/314082) in order to bring up the VM under KVM but it has worked fine until the upgrade to 0.12.1.2.


It probably did make some kind of difference.  Please try a clean install.
