Hi,

after upgrading from qemu-kvm-0.11.1 to 0.12.1 i get the following error
starting my kvm (guest is linux 2.6.32):

rom: requested regions overlap (rom linuxboot.bin.
free=0x0000000000002300, addr=0x0000000000000000)
rom loading failed

I have no -drive option and no -boot option, only -kernel
This worked without problems in previous kvm versions.

I assume the IDE controller has an option rom which supplies a boot
drive and the linuxboot "option rom" does the same.

BTW: The VM boots from network. Actually I dont need the IDE controller
at all. How can I disable it?

I've fixed this for qemu-kvm-0.12.1.1.
