agreed. that would be much nicer if "./configure" can tell us that
"make" would not work, because Xen support is not available. we should
not wait until "make" to spit out the error message.

It's fixed in upstream QEMU. With Avi on holiday, it may take a little unless Marcelo cherry picks or does a qemu merge. It's
