KVM 88 Boot from Floppy Stops

I have tested and confirmed that in KVM-86 all worked fine.

I attempted to test in KVM-87, however I was not able to finish
install due to make errors
KVM-87 configure: http://pastebin.ca/1495900
KVM-87 make: http://pastebin.ca/1495902

In KVM-88 I am able to install again, but I am not able to get past
the boot from floppy in the BIOS:

I am booting a native Windows installation (raw harddrive) from a
virtual bootdisk. Here is how I start KVM:
utahcon:$ /usr/local/kvm/bin/qemu-system-x86_64 -hda /dev/sda -fda
/var/virtual/bootdisk.img -m 1024 -boot a

Finally this is where it stops:

BTW - I have removed and added kvm/kvm-intel to my modprobe as well.
