dmesg of failed session

After updating to 4.19 (tested .1, .2, .3, and .8) a while after startup system
locks up permanently. Mouse cursor is not moving. Sound stops. The only way to
recover is to do power reset.

Kernel log has multiple "Watchdog detected hard LOCKUP" errors with stack
traces hinting at kvm.

Issue is not present in 4.18.
