[showell@toby ~]$ sudo shutdown -r now

Connection to toby closed.
[showell@spec ~]$ ssh toby

[showell@toby ~]$ uptime
 01:36:52 up 1 day, 23:44,  1 user,  load average: 1.48, 0.35, 0.12
[showell@toby ~]$ 

shutdown -h now
[showell@toby ~]$ uptime
 01:36:52 up 1 day, 23:46,  1 user,  load average: 1.48, 0.35, 0.12
[showell@toby ~]$ sudo shutdown -h now
[showell@toby ~]$ Connection to toby closed by remote host.
Connection to toby closed.
[showell@spec ~]$ sudo virsh start toby-fc29
Domain toby-fc29 started
[showell@spec ~]$ ssh toby
