Just a microscopic change here which is a little bit clearer in my opinion:

+       mask |= shadow_mmio_value | access;
+       mask |= gpa | shadow_nonpresent_or_rsvd_mask;
+       mask |= (gpa & shadow_nonpresent_or_rsvd_mask)
+               << shadow_nonpresent_or_rsvd_mask_len;
