Summary: XP SP3 freeze at startup with kvm_intel kernel module v85

Initial Comment:
Hi,

XP SP3 freeze at startup with kvm_intel kernel module v85. It freezes during the resolution change before displaying the Windows XP logo with the progression bar. The VM remain open, consuming full CPU, in a kinda 16/9 display.

qemu-system-x86_64 v85 doesn't work with v85 kvm_intel kernel module but works with -no-kvm or v84 kvm_intel kernel module. Also, booting in safe mode works.

Kubrick.

Message:
Upgrading to kvm-86 (userspace & kernel module) solves the problem.
