KVM & SR-IOV

I'm not sure if this is the correct mailing list and if not any pointers to more suitable lists would be most appreciated.

I'm looking for pointers to documentation/code on how SR-IOV virtual functions are processed by KVM/QEMU. I understand how to pass a virtual function to a guest OS using virsh but I'm looking to find architecture/implementation details at what happens at the guest OS driver/QEMU/KVM level and if there are any KVM unit tests that are validating SR-IOV functionality. I have been looking on the web for information but so far have not been successful.

Regards
