Status of Virtual Machine Introspection in KVM

Hi !

I'm interested in the topic of virtual machine introspection, and I
was wondering
what is the status of VMI in KVM today ?

There are some projects that are using KVM to perform VMI, like
nitro[1] or libvmi[2].

I would like to know if there was any ongoing work about integrating
an introspection
API in KVM like Xen[3] already has ?

Have you considered adding KVM introspections brought by nitro project ?

Has it ever been any discussion in this merit?

Thanks !

Regards.
