I reported this issue before here:

and opened a bug-report here:

https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=492688

but nobody cared up to now.

This not only applies to a smp but also to a domain with only one cpu started
with -smp 1. Using -no-kvm works like a charm but is very slow - so this seems
to be a bug in KVM.
