AW: Nic Bonding - throughput for guest

[Date Prev][Date Next][Thread Prev][Thread Next][Date Index][Thread Index]

Hi Brian & list,

are there known problems for lacp-bonds in combination with bridges?

the br0 itself was reachable through the bond, but not the kvm guests that are bridged with the bond interface.

eth0->                             KVM-GUESTS
       ->  bond0 -->  br0   <---- vnet0,vnet1,vnet2
eth1->

According to http://support.citrix.com/article/CTX135690

"LACP for Linux Bridge is not supported.".

I used miimon=100 mode=4

I saw incoming traffic on either eth0 or eth1 but only very rarely on bond0 itself. Hence the kvm guests also had only sporadically connections.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Stefan
