Thanks for the direction, will submit patches to the appropriate places. I messed around with extending the -boot syntax as you suggested, but I think boot c,verbose=off,prompt=off is a little cumbersome. boot c,quiet,noprompt seems cleaner. Thoughts? Also, I agree that they should both be on by default, though I don't want to step on anyone's toes by hiding copyright/credit info. Though, note that only normal output is hidden. Errors are still displayed. Disabling the prompt by default but leaving the text is probably the way to go.
