Hi Lance, could it be that your usb device is an serial usb device? Then see the bug I've already filled to qemu devels: https://bugs.launchpad.net/qemu/+bug/319014 Hopefully, someone able to fix this, grabs that problem. Or you've the same problem as me, that you've to compile every kvm version by yourself, as the trivial but pherhaps not acceptable patch fixes your problem.
