[Android-virt] Guest booting problems on kvm-a15-v6

OK, so I can use Marc's arm-platforms tree (kvm-v3.3-rc1 branch) as a
host, and boot a guest.

But trying to use git://github.com/virtualopensystems/linux-kvm-arm.git
(kvm-a15-v6 branch) fails to get past "Uncompressing kernel... booting
Linux etc". (I fixed the r7 register clobber, and synced the qemu
headers with the updated definition from the kernel headers).

Running top in another terminal window in the fastmodel stops at this
point unless I press a key. This implies that timer interrupts are not
getting to the host.

Unfortunately, the differences betweeen Marc's and Christoffer's trees
are significant, so it's not obvious where to look.

Before I dive down this rathole, do you have any last-minute fixes I
should look at?

Thanks,
Rusty.
