State Road 405 Indian River Bridge Closed to Boat Navigation for Upcoming Race

The Indian River Bridge on State Road 405 will be closed to navigation on the Atlantic Intracoastal Waterway, including boat traffic such as tugs and tugs with tows, on Sunday, July 14, from 4:30 to 11 a.m. EDT due to a road race.

Public vessels of the United States and vessels in distress shall be passed at any time. The U.S. Coast Guard will announce the temporary change to the bridge operating regulation in the Local Notice to Mariners and via a Broadcast Notice to Mariners.

The Indian River Bridge will allow traffic to and from the Kennedy Space Center and the Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex via the northbound lanes of State Road 405 (NASA Causeway, including Space Commerce Way).

Normal bridge operations will commence at 11 a.m. following the race.

Please expect delays and plan accordingly.
