NASA KENNEDY SPACE CENTER AREA AVIATION FLIGHT RESTRICTIONS What: Activation of Restricted Area R-2934 When: Friday, Nov. 2, from 6 a.m. until 6 p.m. EDT Where: All aviation traffic is prohibited from entering Restricted Area R-2934 from the surface up to 5,000 feet during this period. Pilots should check NOTAM for the latest information. Aeronautical Chart in Use: Orlando Class B terminal area and Jacksonville sectional NOTAM Information: St. Petersburg Flight Service Station Telephone: 1-800-992-7433 Radio frequencies: 123.6 MHz (Titusville); 122.6 MHz (Melbourne) Radio Communications: FAA Orlando Approach Control Titusville/Cocoa area: 134.950 MHz Melbourne area: 132.650 MHz Cape Control frequency: 133.8 MHz PUBLIC ACCESS ROAD CLOSURES State Road 3 from the Gate 2 News Media Pass and Identification Building to State Road 405 (NASA Causeway) via Space Commerce Way and State Road 405 from U.S. Astronaut Hall of Fame to Space Commerce Way will be closed for public access from 6 a.m. until 6 p.m. EDT. The Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex also will be closed to those who do not hold tickets to the "Atlantis -- Celebrate the Journey" event.
