NASA INVITES MEDIA TO SPACE SHUTTLE ENDEAVOUR TOUR MARCH 7

CAPE CANAVERAL, Fla. -- Media are invited to interview and photo
opportunities on March 7 in space shuttle Endeavour inside Orbiter
Processing Facility-2 at NASA's Kennedy Space Center, Fla. Experts
will be available for interviews around the outside of Endeavour and
inside the shuttle's crew compartment.

A limited number of time slots will be available throughout the
morning and mid-afternoon. To accommodate as many journalists as
possible, media organizations will be limited to one person per
organization for a slot, with a maximum of two people, a reporter and
videographer, for television media. NASA also is trying to first
accommodate media who did not take part in the shuttle Discovery tour
in June 2011.

To sign up for this opportunity, U.S. media need to contact Tracy
Young at tracy.g.young@nasa.gov by noon EST on Friday, March 2. She
will contact all media about available time slots by close of
business on March 2. No new international media credentials are
available for this event.

After contacting Tracy Young, media then need to apply for Kennedy
credentials online at:

https://media.ksc.nasa.gov

Any updates for this event will be available at 321-867-2525.

Endeavour's last spaceflight was the STS-134 mission in May/June 2011.
Currently it is being prepared for public display at the California
Science Center in Los Angeles. It will be flown to California on one
of NASA's modified 747 aircraft in September 2012.
