NEW TIME FOR NASA MOBILE LAUNCHER MOVE NOV. 16 PHOTO OPPORTUNITY

CAPE CANAVERAL, Fla. -- NASA is updating the time media are invited to
a photo opportunity as NASA's new mobile launcher (ML) moves to
Launch Pad 39B at the agency's Kennedy Space Center, Fla., on
Wednesday, Nov. 16.

First motion is now scheduled for 8 a.m. EST, but could be slightly
earlier based on real-time operations. Media should arrive at
Kennedy's Press Site by 7 a.m. for transportation to the viewing
sites.

The move will not be shown live on NASA Television, but video
highlights will air during Video File segments.

The mobile launcher will be moved from next to Kennedy's Vehicle
Assembly Building to the launch pad to collect data from structural
and functional engineering tests. This data will be used for the next
phases of construction. The 355-foot-tall ML is being modified to
support the Space Launch System, the heavy-lift rocket that will
launch astronauts farther into space than ever before, create
high-quality jobs here at home, and provide the cornerstone for
America's future human space exploration efforts.

Any updates on the move will be available at 321-867-2525.

Video b-roll of the move will air on the NASA TV's Video File. For
