NASA DEPUTY ADMINISTRATOR HOSTS MEDIA TELECONFERENCE, WILL DISCUSS CRITICAL VOTE IN CONGRESS FOR FUTURE OF HUMAN SPACE FLIGHT

WASHINGTON -- NASA Deputy Administrator Lori Garver will be available 
to answer media questions during a teleconference Thursday, Sept. 30, 
at 1:30 p.m. EDT.

Garver will discuss the strong, bipartisan support Congress has given 
the agency and President Obama's ambitious plans for human space 
exploration with Wednesday night's approval of the National 
Aeronautics and Space Administration Authorization Act of 2010. The 
Senate earlier this year approved the measure.
