NASA INVITES MEDIA TO JOB FAIR

CAPE CANAVERAL, Fla. -- NASA's Kennedy Space Center and Brevard
Workforce are partnering to host a job fair with private sector
companies, as well as federal employers, both locally and across the
country. Media are invited to attend the second day of the two-day
fair on Sept. 16 at 12 p.m. EDT at the Radisson Resort at the Port,
8701 Astronaut Boulevard, Cape Canaveral, Fla., where NASA officials
will be available for interviews.

The first day of the fair will be at Kennedy, similar to the two-day
job fair held in June. More than 40 employers are expected to take
part in next week's fair. No media accreditation is required to
attend the Sept. 16 event.

As the Space Shuttle Program comes to an end, Kennedy's Human
Resources Office is helping employees with future planning and
placement. Along with this job fair, human resources also has hosted
workshops, seminars and other events to prepare employees as much as
possible for future opportunities.
