CAPE CANAVERAL, Fla. -- Journalists are invited to cover two upcoming
events at NASA's Kennedy Space Center in Florida in preparation for
the STS-127 space shuttle mission in June. Shuttle Endeavour will
move from Launch Pad 39B to Pad 39A on May 30, and the STS-127 crew's
launch dress rehearsal, known as the Terminal Countdown Demonstration
Test, will take place from May 31 to June 2.

The first motion of the shuttle on its rollaround from pad to pad is
scheduled for 12:01 a.m. EDT, May 30. The 3.4-mile journey is
expected to take approximately six hours. Activities include a 6 a.m.
photo opportunity of the shuttle's move, followed by a 7 a.m.
interview opportunity with Endeavour Flow Director Dana Hutcherson.

Badges must be picked up before 4 p.m., Friday, May 29, at the badging
office.

The Terminal Countdown Demonstration Test provides each shuttle crew
with an opportunity to participate in various simulated countdown
activities, including equipment familiarization and emergency
training. Endeavour's astronauts and ground crews will take part in
the practice countdown.

The following media events are associated with the test. All times are
Eastern.

May 31 - Crew arrival: The astronauts will arrive at approximately
2:30 p.m. at the Shuttle Landing Facility and make a brief statement
to reporters. The arrival will be broadcast live on NASA TV.

June 1 - Crew availability: The crew will answer reporters' questions
at Launch Pad 39A at 9:20 a.m. The session will be carried live on
NASA TV.

June 2 - Crew walkout photo opportunity: The astronauts will depart
from the Operations and Checkout Building at 6:45 a.m. in their
launch and entry suits in preparation for the countdown demonstration
test at the launch pad. The walkout will not be broadcast live but
