System maintenance is being performed on the media (103) and education (102) channels. Mounted atop a modified Boeing 747 shuttle carrier aircraft, Endeavour is scheduled to land at Kennedy at 2:30 p.m. EST after a three-day cross-country ferry flight from NASA's Dryden Flight Research Center at Edwards Air Force Base, Calif. Space shuttle Endeavour and its crew landed at Edwards Nov. 30, completing a 16-day journey of more than 6.6 million miles. During the mission, designated STS-126, the crew conducted important repair work and prepared the International Space Station to house six crew members on long-duration missions beginning next year.
