During Discovery's May 31 launch from NASA's Kennedy Space Center, the east wall of the pad's north flame trench suffered damage when about 3,500 bricks were torn away from the wall. The bricks were scattered from the flame trench to the pad's perimeter fence. To participate in the teleconference, reporters must RSVP by 2 p.m., Thursday, to the Kennedy newsroom by phoning 321-867-2468.
