NASA'S SHUTTLE CREW RETURNS TO KSC TOMORROW FOR LAUNCH

The crew of Space Shuttle Discovery's Return to Flight mission
(STS-114) will return to NASA's Kennedy Space Center (KSC) at 11:30
a.m. EDT Friday, July 22. The seven astronauts, led by Commander
Eileen Collins, left KSC over the past couple of days to participate
in prelaunch training at NASA's Johnson Space Center, Houston.

Collins is expected to make a brief statement to the media after
arrival. Her comments and arrival activities will be carried live on
NASA Television.

The crew is scheduled to arrive via their T-38 aircraft at KSC's
Shuttle Landing Facility (SLF). The crew includes Pilot James Kelly
and Mission Specialists Soichi Noguchi, Stephen Robinson, Andrew
Thomas, Wendy Lawrence and Charles Camarda.

U.S. media wishing to cover the event must be at the KSC Press Site by
9 a.m. EDT for transportation to the SLF. Foreign national media must
be at the Pass and Identification Building (PIDS 2) on State Road 3,
south of KSC, by 8 a.m. EDT to be transported to the Press Site.
Media who have not already picked up their STS-114 mission badges
should call the KSC Press Site at 321-867-2468 and speak to Mandi
Falconer.

NASA TV is carried by MPEG-2 digital signal accessed via satellite
AMC-6, at 72 degrees west longitude, transponder 17C, 4040 MHz,
vertical polarization. It's available in Alaska and Hawaii in analog
through Return to Flight on AMC-7, at 137 degrees west longitude,
Transponder 18, at 4060 MHz, vertical polarization, and audio at 6.8
MHz. A Digital Video Broadcast compliant Integrated Receiver Decoder
is required for reception.
