KSC MEDIA ACCREDITATION REOPENS FOR STS-114 MISSION ACTIVITIES

News media accreditation will be reopened for a limited period to
accommodate media planning to attend the Return to Flight launch of
Space Shuttle Discovery on Mission STS-114 in July 2005 from NASA's
Kennedy Space Center.

The period for new accreditation requests extends from May 30 - June
10.

Working journalists not currently accredited for Mission STS-114 may
submit a request via the online accreditation Web site at:

https://media.ksc.nasa.gov/

Once the request is verified and approved, a response will follow with
additional details useful for coving the launch, mission, and landing
at KSC, and other important mission and logistical information. The
approved credentials will be valid from launch through landing and
honored at KSC, Johnson Space Center, Texas, and Dryden Flight
Research Center, Calif.
