(Phone: 321/867-2468) MEDIA ADVISORY: 01-05 NASA UPDATES PLANS FOR SPACE SHUTTLE EXTERNAL TANK ARRIVAL The redesigned External Tank that will launch the Space Shuttle Discovery on its return to flight mission is making good progress en route to NASA's Kennedy Space Center, Fla. The barge carrying the External Tank now is expected to arrive at the Turn Basin at KSC at about 1 p.m. today. Other media events associated with the tank's arrival are still scheduled for Thursday, Jan. 6, and Friday, Jan. 7. Media who wish to view the barge at the turn basin can do so through 4:30 p.m. today. The updated schedule is as follows. All times are subject to further revision.
