KENNEDY SPACE CENTER CLOSING THURSDAY AND FRIDAY TO PREPARE FOR HURRICANE FRANCES

Due to Hurricane Frances approaching the Florida coast, Kennedy Space Center Director Jim Kennedy has directed the Center to be closed for all personnel on Thursday and Friday.  Final hurricane preparations will be made today to secure the Center for the storm.  The Center is set to reopen on Tuesday Sept. 7; however, this date could change depending on the severity of the storm.  For up to date information, please call 321-867-2525, which will be operational as long as possible.
