available on the 45th Weather Squadron

Vehicle/Payload:	Delta II / Contour

Location:	SLC 17A

Launch Weather Officer:	Joel Tumbiolo

Synoptic Discussion:
Low pressure center located east of the area will be the main driver for
weather conditions during the launch countdown. Showers and thunderstorms
will rotate in a counterclockwise direction around this low pressure center,
with activity affecting the Cape coming from the W through N. Wind field
from the surface through 30 KFT will be less than 10 KTS. Main concern
initially will be local conditions at the time of MST Rollback. Afterwards,
launch window concerns will be cloud cover and any showers and thunderstorms
still in the vicinity.
