I've searched for HTML format KJV Bibles that I would view as a pleasant
reading experience. What I've found packages emphasizing study rather
than reading. I found https://ebible.org/engkjvcpb/ which has many
desirable features. As it was designed to be "compatible" with a much
larger project, the features I dislike are predictable enough to remove
with suitably crafted macros.
To assess feasibility I've manually edited some chapters with Composer
{SeaMonkey's builtin minimalist HTML editor}. It has one *STRONG* point,
with a mouse click you can switch back and forth between "HTML source"
and "viewable image". Unfortunately it has no macro capability.
Among KATE's fine features are macros {just begun reading docs and
intriguing references to being able to record macros as you develop them}.
But I see no way to conveniently to see what user will see.
Is there an appropriate tool {most chapters are less than 32k}?
TIA
