disabling Akonadi

Folks,


I don't need akonadi (I use `locate' :-) $(Q#|(B it fills my precious
harddisk space of my laptop with abount 500MByte which is far too
much.

Is there a possibility to completely disable akonadi?  Not installing
isn't an option since many programs depend on it (at least in
openSuSE), and calling `akonadictl stop' after startup isn't a good
solution either since my `.local' directory has been again filled with
at least 140MByte even if it was empty before...
