KDE 4.4 file copy question

Can someone using KDE 4.4 answer this question for me? When I copy a
file in KDE 4.3 and then cancel the file copy before it completes, KDE
leaves the partial and corrupted file in the destination rather than
removing it. Will KDE 4.4 clean up partial files from aborted file
copies or does it still place the burden on the user to clean up?
