What it doesn't do, though, is remove the footer from the quoted message - unless, of course, you highlighted a specific section that you wanted to reply to. That's a very useful way if the message has become long and you are only replying to one section. The length of message is something that we all forget, sometimes, to keep reasonable. The fact is that there are still a considerable number of people that have slow connections or capped connections, and it does matter a good deal to them to keep the bandwidth low.
