Sorry, I can't be very specific.  It was a long time ago.  I think it was 
probably in 4.0 or 4.1.  I can't even recall whether it was on the Mandriva 
install or the Fedora one.  Your description does sound the same as I saw, but 
as I said, it didn't stay around for long, so I assumed that a bugfix had come 
in with an update.
