On my laptop with Radeon 9700, performance of X.org in general was terrible until I got the advice to set this in xorg.conf "Device" section for radeon: Option "AccelMethod" "EXA" After I did that it was flying fast again :) FWIW ___________________________________________________ This message is from the kde mailing list.
