Which IM program is recommended to use for video chat in the meantime,
until Kopete matures?
Good question. Apparently pidgin support video for Jabber protocol: http://developer.pidgin.im/wiki/Using%20Pidgin#DoesPidginsupportwebcamsvideo
I've seen video working in Kopete a few months ago so let's hope it will come back soon :)
On the other hand Skype Linux is not working bad...
