People who just want to follow KDE releases now (and not test development snapshots or live builds) would probably be better off deactivating the kde-testing overlay. The breakage was related to another package from the overlay (kdebase-startkde, kdebase-meta? not sure) - so this glitch was only visible to overlay users.
