In fact, openSUSE 11.2 is due in November, so I better wait whether this brings all the goodies I need. I have tried, though, to upgrade the intel driver, which needed an upgrade of Xorg first. This I tried too, from the openSUSE Build Service, which resulted in a mess, lets say: The Xserver would not start anymore, and downgrading back again did not help. I ended up in reinstalling 11.1.
