How does that pertain to the question I asked?

It's not for me (I don't do proprietaryware including MSWormOS!), and the 
person looking for recommendations isn't going to be ready to move off of 
MS Windows for some time.  But if kmail is ready on MS Windows, perhaps 
it'll be the start of a beautiful relationship, and they'll eventually 
switch off of MS to something free as in freedom (which UNIX (tm) isn't).

But I don't want to recommend it if it's not ready, thus the question.
