There is a bug in Amarok 2.1 and 2.1.1 that causes it to crash on run up. The bug can be seen at https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=191828. The work around I used was to edit amarok's config file to disable last.fm. The file is $KDEHOME/share/config/amarokrc. Look for a line like amarok_service_lastfmEnabled=true and change true to false Steve -- ____________________________________________________________________ Steve Evans E-mail: mailto:stevee@xxxxxxxxxx WEB: http://www.gorbag.com Registered Linux user #217906: http://counter.li.org Public Encryption Key: http://www.gorbag.com/public-key.html ____________________________________________________________________ Now playing: 'Wailing Wall (Live 16-11-1984)' by 'The Cure' from the album 'Live Top Tour Washington 16-11-1984' 2.6.29-gentoo-r5 Intel(R) Pentium(R) 4 CPU 3.00GHz GNU/Linux 15:00:58 up 2 days, 4:17, 6 users, load average: 0.41, 0.22, 0.12
