Thanks > Further to my earlier response, if you are not able to fix the faulty profile, then an option may be to delete the Shell.profile in /.kde/share/apps/konsole and replace it with the default Shell.profile. I've no idea where this will be on a Fedora system, possibly in /usr somewhere. "locate /konsole/Shell.profile" should find it. Remember to make yourself the owner of the copied file.
