If I switch desktops, for about a second a centered window pops up, showing the movement (with large blue arrows) and the target desktop within a symbolic image of all virtual desktops. Since I regularly use desktop switching for blinking comparison of images of font renderings (I'm a FreeType developer), this centered windows prevents comparison of the covered screen portion. Besides this, it drives me really crazy. > Other than that, if 4.2.3 is available from OpenSuSE, I would > suggest that you update. Even then I would be glad to know how this applet is called, and how I can control this. Werner ___________________________________________________ This message is from the kde mailing list.
