Hi Mostafa,


There is a known bug with the Jalali calendar that causes teh -5999 problem that I haven't found time to fix yet. In fact, I've been looking at replacing the current calculation code as apparently it is not accurate or reliable for dates more than about 100 years ago or more than a few hundred years in the future.


As for the tool-tip idea, sounds good to me. Please create a wish on bugs.kde.org and assign to Plasma asking for the Plasma calendar widget to do this. I'll have a think about if we want to do it for the standard widget as well.
