Dolphin is really nicer to konqueror. I took a long time to really accept 
that! I hope you give dolphin some time before you decide to go back to 
konqueror. Besides, konq really just uses the dolphin part for file management!

Anyway, I digress... If you must make the change it is as simple as setting 
the default application for the "folder" mime type. In system settings-
>advanced->file associations, search for "folder" and select inode/directory 
and select dolphin as your preference.
