Yes, I've seen this sometimes when the user accidentally turns on the 
sticky keys feature. Try to keep a key pressed for a while and see if 
it works and repeats. If it does, sticky keys are on.
You can turn this off in Accessibility, in Control Center or System 
Settings, depending on the version of KDE you're using.
